We currently have opportunities to join our Waste and Recycling team as a Refuse HGV Driver/Loader.
Your role
You’ll be responsible for driving HGV Refuse Collection Vehicles and loading refuse, recycling, garden, food waste, and sacks onto the lorry—always prioritising health, safety, and excellent customer care. This role is essential in keeping our streets clean and tidy.
As the Driver for your round, you’ll also act as chargehand, taking accountability for the vehicle and crew each day. In addition, you’ll assist with in-cab technology, ensuring accurate and timely completion of all information related to your route.
What you will need
You will need to hold a full UK Driver’s License, an LGV Class 2 Category C licence and a valid driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC).
