- £46,670 per annum (pro rata for part time)

At Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS), we believe in the power of transformation. Our Learning and Development (L&D) team focuses on helping people reach their full potential through innovative development practices and strategic solutions.
As Organisational Development (OD) Business Partner in the SFRS, you will assist the Workforce Planning and Development Manager in creating and implementing various interventions to meet organisational needs. Leading the design, delivery, management, and coordination of learning and development programs, including leadership courses, masterclasses, external qualifications, and personal skills training.
By engaging with colleagues and stakeholders, you will foster a collaborative approach to promote partnership working, share knowledge, and advance organisational development & learning projects and initiatives. Additionally, you will assist in the design and deliver externally accredited qualifications, ensuring compliance with best practices and overseeing quality assurance processes.
You will need
- Level 5 CIPD qualification in HR or L&D or equivalent knowledge or experience.
- Experience in organisational development learning needs analysis.
- Experience in commissioning, procurement, and contract management (Desirable).
- In-depth knowledge of organisational development, cultural and behavioural change, and project management.
This role requires a highly motivated, innovative approach with an appetite for creating sustainable change. individuals will need to be able to demonstrate strong organisational behaviours and values aligned with Suffolk County Council (SCC) WEASPIRE and National Fire Chief Council (NFCC) Code of Ethics.

The team
As part of the Workforce Planning and Development team, you will lead a small, dynamic team of Learning and Development professionals. You will work closely with the operational training team, the recruitment manager, and the EDI Lead to drive impactful initiatives that shape and develop our workforce for the future
