Pitstop Nursery is looking for a Nursery Manager who has a passion for working with babies and young children, helping them to flourish in a fun, friendly and caring environment. You will be a motivated and committed member of the team who is happy to get stuck in to all aspects of nursery life, while demonstrating excellent leadership and knowledge.

Your responsibilities:

  • Staff management
  • Daily management of setting
  • Activity planning
  • Social media posts
  • Communicating with parents and organisations
  • Being responsible for key children and supporting families
  • Ensuring that all statutory, legal and setting obligations are followed and met

You will need:

  • A full and relevant level 3 qualification or above in childcare or equivalent
  • At least 2 years’ experience in Early Years and have experience in a managerial/supervisory role
  • Robust knowledge of the EYFS
  • Extensive knowledge of safeguarding
  • Excellent organisation and communication skills
  • The ability to work as part of a team and use your own initiative
  • The ability to manage your own time and prioritise tasks
  • Proven IT skills
