East Suffolk Council is an exciting place to work, delivering essential local services and making a real difference to a quarter of a million people across East Suffolk. We currently have an opportunity to join East Suffolk Council's Repairs and Maintenance Team as a Maintenance Inspector.
Your role: The successful candidate will undertake inspections of maintenance defects, identify suitable remedial actions and extent of work necessary to rectify or improve the reported defect. Identify works necessary to be undertaken from the rolling Capital works programme. Carry out void property inspections and commission work to meet current lettable standards. Undertake stock condition surveys.
What you will need: The successful candidate will have a minimum of 3 years’ experience of a Building Maintenance environment and have a good understanding of building regulations. The candidate will have experience of safe systems and processes in place for the collection, recording, analysis and reporting of data, which are focused on securing data that is accurate, valid, reliable, timely, relevant and complete.
