Ixworth Church of England Primary School are seeking an outstanding Teaching Assistant (TA) to join our warm, caring and dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity for a committed and motivated Teaching Assistant to become part of a successful, forward-thinking school community. As our school continues to grow, including the addition of an extra class from September, we are expanding our support team and are looking to appoint an additional Teaching Assistant, with the role available for the 2026 - 27 academic year in the first instance.

  • has high expectations of children’s behaviour and achievements
  • has excellent English and mathematics skills
  • possess initiative and the ability to communicate well with both teaching staff and pupils
  • has a good sense of humour!
