This role is the beating heart of our housing governance and assurance function. You will provide essential, hands-on support to the Housing Leadership team, ensuring the smooth operation of our Housing governance arrangements and core processes.
Responsibilities
- Provide hands-on support to the Housing Leadership team.
- Ensure the smooth operation of Housing governance arrangements and core processes.
- Act as a key advisor to senior officers, fostering a culture of trust and resilience.
- Develop, write and review documents; work with colleagues to ensure key deadlines are met.
- Maintain and keep up-to-date compliance documents and housing records.
Qualifications
- Minimum of A Level education.
- Experience in or holding a specific housing qualification is advantageous.
- Knowledge and understanding of housing, related issues, and national housing policy.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills at all levels, including external organisations.
Job Details
- Salary: £39,152 - £40,777 per annum.
- Hours: Full time, 37 hours per week (Monday to Friday).
- Contract: Permanent.
- Location: Ipswich, Suffolk IP1 2DE.
- Hybrid work: Minimum one day per week in office.
