Paradigm Trust is looking to appoint an inspirational and highly motivated SENCo into the team at Ipswich Academy from April 2026.
Salary: £66,368 – £71,330 per annum (£32,916 – £51,048 for trainees).
Hours: Full Time.
Contract: Permanent.
Location: Brazier’s Wood Road, Ipswich, Suffolk IP3 0SP.
Responsibilities:
- Manage all additional support given to pupils with Special Educational Needs and/or Disabilities within the Academy.
- Provide an excellent career opportunity, supporting a demanding, varied and highly challenging role that reports directly to the principal.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Previous experience working as a SENCO.
- Drive, enthusiasm and passion for SEN; understanding of issues affecting pupils with additional needs and how to support them.
- Compliance with safeguarding policies and procedures; an Enhanced Disclosure via the Disclosure and Barring Service will be required for all posts.
- Due regard for safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
