Suffolk County Council is focused on making a meaningful difference to communities across Suffolk. As a Project Coordinator Communities within our Public Health and Communities Directorate, you’ll play a vital role in supporting projects that improve health, wellbeing, and resilience for local residents. You’ll work collaboratively across teams and with partners, helping to deliver work that really makes an impact.
Your role and responsibilities
- Support the planning, coordination, and delivery of projects across the Public Health and Communities directorate.
- Support and coordinate projects that contribute to Public Health and Communities priorities.
- Build and maintain positive working relationships with internal teams and external partners, including district and borough councils, health partners, and the voluntary sector.
- Liaise with stakeholders to help develop, deliver, and evaluate system-wide projects.
- Collate, analyse, and present data and information to support reporting and decision-making.
- Prepare written reports and present information to a range of audiences.
- Ensure equality, diversity, inclusion, information governance, and data protection requirements are met.
- Identify risks and support the development of mitigation actions.
- Work flexibly across functions to respond to changing priorities and emerging issues.
You’ll work in a supportive, collaborative environment where flexibility, innovation, and shared learning are encouraged.

- Experience or knowledge of supporting and coordinating projects.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage varied audiences.
