We are looking for an experienced and talented Teaching Assistant, who has experience in Key Stage 2 (ages 8 - 11). This is a varied role which includes delivering personalised Special Educational Needs support to individuals and small groups of children as well as providing high quality classroom support. This position is fixed term based on Higher Needs Funding to support children with SEND needs in Years 4 and 5.

The person that we are looking for needs to:

  • relish the challenge of supporting learning in an ambitious and diverse school
  • work with dynamic, forward thinking staff with high aspirations for our children
  • be a teaching assistant who exemplifies outstanding classroom practice, behaviour management and high expectations
  • be committed to life-long learning and open to excellent CPD opportunities
  • have good levels of English and Maths competence - GCSE C or equivalent and a Level 3 Early Years qualification would be preferable.
