As a result of outstanding learner outcomes and increased popularity in Health and Social Care at Suffolk New College, linked with our excellent partnerships and placements with employers, we have grown the department and need a skilled, experienced and highly motivated Health and Social Care Lecturer to join our team. Are you keen to share your skills, knowledge and experience in a rewarding career in education? We are seeking to recruit a Lecturer in Health and Social Care to teach across all levels of our provision.

You should have a degree (or equivalent professional qualification) in a related subject and a teaching qualification or a commitment to obtaining one within a specified period after commencement and a good standard of education including Maths and English to Level 2 or above.

This post is based at Suffolk New College Ipswich campus. However, Suffolk New College is a multi-campus site therefore you may be required to work at and travel between campuses.

Health and Social Care is a popular and growing area within the college, with approximately 200 students. Courses are offered at Levels 1, 2 and 3, including the Health T-level route. We are currently investing in our facilities and equipment to ensure that students gain up-to-date knowledge and experience in preparation for working in this important sector, and work in close relationship with ESNEFT and several local and regional organisations and employers. A high proportion of our students go on to work in the health sector or progress to higher level study at university.

The Directorate team comprises of management, teaching staff, support staff and administrators who are all committed to delivering an exceptional experience to our students to enable them to achieve and progress to their chosen destination through further or higher education opportunities or employment.
