This role plays an important part in ensuring our compliance records are accurate and up to date.
If you share our values and you are motivated to make a difference for our residents, clients, and communities, we would love to hear from you.

About the role

Reporting to the Business Services Manager, you will provide a highly effective, customer-focused, and innovative compliance business support function, with a particular focus on Damp and Mould.

Key responsibilities will be:

  • processing compliance data and maintaining the compliance register
  • liaising with and monitoring day-to-day activities of contractors, to ensure compliance servicing schedules and target dates are met
  • providing damp and mould business support to the compliance team, including attending meetings and taking minutes
  • assisting in the compilation, administration, and monitoring of customer satisfaction data
  • ensuring complaints relating to compliance are responded to, and areas of customer dissatisfaction addressed
  • raising and processing work orders, purchase orders, process invoices, including variation requests

This role is key in ensuring that we meet our statutory and regulatory obligations in respect of compliance and health and safety for our housing and corporate properties.

About you

We are seeking a dedicated and organised Business Support Officer to join our team.

To be successful, you will be educated to NVQ level 3/ONC or have gained an equivalent level of administration experience.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate:

  • strong organisational skills and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities, with flexibility to adapt and reprioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • excellent administration skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in administrative tasks, including record-keeping, data entry, and correspondence
  • strong IT skills, particularly Microsoft Office
  • strong customer focus, organised and can work effectively under pressure
  • good team player, with a collaborative and supportive approach to working with colleagues
  • keen to contribute positively to team goals and a shared commitment to service excellence
