Your role and responsibilities
Our Provider Support Team play a key role in shaping the future of Suffolk’s care market. You’ll deliver engaging, high‑impact workshops, including, Dementia, Age Simulation Suit Training, Record Keeping, and Safeguarding, empowering providers to deliver exceptional care. Working closely with Contract Officers, you’ll help identify development opportunities across the sector and drive meaningful improvement for providers and our service users.
- Engage regularly with Contract Officers to create development opportunities within the care market.
- Deliver high quality and engaging workshops to providers within Suffolk's care market.
- Provide feedback to Contract Officers including learning reviews.
- Attend seminars and coproduction events to identify best practice and trends in the care market.
- Support to develop workshops when gaps or development opportunities are identified.
- Manage time efficiently be organised and a good communicator.
- Be able to develop strong professional relationships.

The team
The Provider Support Team is a small, supportive team made up of a manager and two Commissioning and Contract Officers. Despite its size, the team has a significant impact in the development and support of the care market and is key to shaping the future of care in Suffolk.
The team forms part of the Strategic Commissioning and Contract Management Service.
