Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will support the accurate and timely processing of payments to the care market, playing a key part in ensuring high standards of financial governance and value for money. You will regularly use Excel at an intermediate level and will need strong IT skills to manage data, record information accurately and support auditing processes.
You will work flexibly as part of a collaborative team, using your strong interpersonal skills to deliver a positive and professional customer service experience. Full training and ongoing support will be provided to help you succeed in the role.
Your responsibilities include:
- Ensuring accurate and timely payment to care providers.
- Accurately setting up and maintaining provider care contracts within the case management system.
- Developing expertise in the use of case management systems.
You will need:
- Proven IT skills, including the use of Excel at an intermediate level.
- Experience working in an environment involving payments and auditing processes.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and excellent attention to detail.
The team manages all non‑residential payments to care providers across the county. The team ensures contracts are issued accurately and in a timely manner, supports value for money and helps identify opportunities to manage demand effectively.
