We’re looking for a brilliant Communications Officer with exceptional writing and editorial skills, sharp judgement and a great sense of tone, someone who can bring clarity, warmth and impact to internal and external communications across a family of schools. You’ll play a key role in making sure our messaging is accurate, timely, inclusive and aligned with Trust priorities and values.
Why this role matters
You’ll be the engine behind high-quality internal communications, helping colleagues across our trust stay informed, aligned and connected, while also supporting external communications that promote our brand, values and work in local communities. You’ll work closely with the Chief Strategy Officer and colleagues across schools and central teams, building positive relationships and supporting joined-up communication across the trust.
What we’re looking for:
- Experience in a communications/marketing/media/PR role, with strong writing, editing and proofreading skills
- Confidence using digital channels (web and social) and managing multiple deadlines
- Professional judgement, discretion and a real commitment to confidentiality and safeguarding
- A commitment to inclusion, equality and our values of integrity, inclusion and kindness.
We will offer you:
- Annual leave: 24 days holiday rising to 29 days holiday after 5 years’ service plus bank holidays
