St Felix RC Primary School are seeking an Assistant Headteacher/KS2 Class Teacher. In addition to high-quality classroom practice, you will:
- take on a strategic leadership role within the school leadership team
- provide coaching and professional support to staff, contributing to ongoing professional development
- have oversight of assessment and pupil progress, ensuring high expectations and strong outcomes for all pupils.
This role would suit an ambitious, reflective practitioner with strong leadership potential, a commitment to collaboration, and a passion for inclusive, high-quality education within a Catholic ethos.
Your responsibilities include:
- Proven KS2 Class Teacher.
- To lead staff to implement improvements arising from the school’s self-evaluation.
- To ensure pupils' progress is tracked and any learning gaps are identified and closed.
What you will need:
- A Degree 2:1 or above and QTS
- Evidence of continuous professional development and an interest in research that supports pupil progress
- Experience of tracking pupil progress and using data to drive necessary changes to improve pupil outcomes
