Framlingham Sir Robert Hitcham’s CEVAP Primary School is a popular, well‑resourced school with 320 children in the delightful market town of Framlingham. We are proud of our dedicated staff and governors, enthusiastic pupils, and wide range of extra‑curricular activities that enrich the learning experience.
We are looking for an experienced SENDCo to join our team on a short‑term, part‑time basis for one day per week. The role is required immediately and will run until Easter 2026, while we recruit a permanent SENDCo for April 2026.
Responsibilities- Lead and coordinate the school's SEND provision for one day per week.
- Work closely with the headteacher, staff, families and external professionals to ensure pupils with additional needs continue to receive high‑quality support during the transition period.
- Manage SEND processes confidently, including identification, assessment, interventions, provision mapping and maintaining SEND records.
- Communicate effectively with pupils, staff, families and outside agencies.
- Work efficiently and independently within limited time in school.
- Qualified teacher with the NASENCO Award or NPQ in SEN, or currently working towards this qualification.
- Proven experience in leading SEND provision.
- Strong commitment to inclusive practice and improving outcomes for learners with SEND.
- Friendly and supportive staff team.
- Strong leadership support and well‑established SEND systems.
