Job Description

Address: Consortium Trust, Helmingham, Suffolk IP14 6EX

Salary: £13.21 - £14.59 per hour

Hours: Full Time, 37 hours per week (working pattern to be mutually agreed)

Contract: Permanent. Required from January 2026

Overview

The Central Finance and HR team needs to increase its capacity within the finance and HR functions. This role is an equal support role for the Finance and HR/Payroll Officers with a range of finance and HR functions. As part of the Central Finance and HR team you may be expected to provide support when needed to the schools within the trust.

Requirements

  • Follow plans and work on own initiative.
  • Communicate clearly with children and adults, verbally and in writing.
  • Experience of working in administration.
  • Support a range of office managers if required.
  • Contribute to end of year audit processes.
  • Willingness to contribute to the general smooth running of the trust.
  • Adhere to policies and procedures and follow GDPR guidelines.
  • Maintain confidentiality.
  • Desire to participate in school and trust CPD opportunities.
  • Aware of safeguarding.

Qualifications

  • Grade C / 4+ level numeracy and literacy.
  • Good level of computer literacy.
  • Desirable: Good level of relative finance and administration experience.
