An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Hardwick Primary School, our friendly and supportive community primary school, as a Year 2 Classroom Teacher covering maternity leave on a fixed-term basis.

This post would suit an Early Career Teacher seeking a nurturing environment in which to develop their skills, or an experienced teacher looking for a rewarding role in a school where staff wellbeing, professional development and high-quality teaching are prioritised.

Support for Early Career Teachers (ECTs):

We are looking for someone who:

  • has experience of teaching Key Stage 1 (or relevant training and placement experience for ECTs)

  • has the enthusiasm to innovate and, where appropriate, lead an area of the curriculum
  • is positive, approachable and brings a good sense of humour to school life.
