West Suffolk College is looking for a Programme Tutor – Plumbing to inspire the next generation of skilled tradespeople. In this role, you’ll deliver engaging, high-quality learning programmes for apprentices and learners, working closely with both learners and employers to create tailored training plans. You’ll also embed essential skills such as English, mathematics, and digital literacy into your teaching while preparing learners for success in their End Point Assessments through expert coaching and support.
You’ll play a key role in tracking learner progress, providing ongoing mentorship, and ensuring every individual has the tools and confidence to thrive. Building strong relationships with employers will be central to your work, helping to deliver an outstanding customer experience and maintain high training standards. You will hold an NVQ Level 3 qualification in Plumbing and Heating (or equivalent) or a CCN1 certification in Core Domestic Natural Gas Safety and Appliances.
