West Suffolk College are looking for passionate and experienced professionals to join our Academy of Hair and Beauty Studies as Lecturers in Barbering. This is a fantastic opportunity for qualified Barbers with strong industry experience to inspire and support the next generation of professionals. You will teach across Level 2 and Level 3 Barbering qualifications, delivering high-quality learning experiences that equip students with the practical and professional skills needed for successful careers within the industry.
To be successful in these roles, you must be a Barber with relevant industry experience and hold an assessor qualification or be willing to work towards one. A teaching qualification and previous experience delivering both theory and practical barbering sessions are desirable however support to obtain a teaching qualification will be provided for candidates who do not already hold one.
We are looking for individuals with a genuine passion for the industry, a strong commitment to student achievement, and the ability to engage and motivate learners of all ages. Excellent communication and teamwork skills, alongside flexibility and adaptability, will be key to succeeding within our dynamic learning environment.
