Little Acorns Childcare are seeking an Early Years Educator to provide high-quality care, learning and development opportunities for children aged 9 months - 5 years old, supporting their individual needs and helping them feel safe, happy and confident in the nursery environment.
In this role, you will support children’s learning and development through a range of age-appropriate activities, meeting their individual needs, maintaining good hygiene and personal care routines, and helping to keep the nursery environment clean, safe and tidy.
Your responsibilities:
- Provide a safe, caring and supportive environment for children.
- Plan and support activities that promote children’s learning and development.
- Meet each child’s individual needs and support their wellbeing.
- Follow appropriate hygiene, toileting, mealtime and personal care routines.
- Observe and monitor children’s progress and development.
- Maintain a clean, tidy and safe nursery environment.
- Work effectively with colleagues and communicate appropriately with parents/carers.
- Follow nursery policies, safeguarding procedures and health and safety requirements.
What you will need:
Relevant level 2 or above Childcare qualification approved by OFSTED.
