Introduction
Rougham Primary School is a small friendly village school close to Bury St. Edmunds. We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated, kind and caring individual to work as a 1-2-1 Learning Support Assistant to support two children with communication and interaction/behaviour needs in KS1 and LKS2. You will need to have a natural aptitude for behaviour management and good interpersonal skills, as well as a positive and enthusiastic manner.
You will be:
- able to work independently with the pupil as well as with the class teacher and the SENCO
- supportive and provide the highest quality learning experience to enable children to reach their full potential
- flexible to adapt duties and responsibilities as per the need of the pupil in your care
- experienced working with SEND children at primary age.
