  • Salary: £25,185 – £25,989 pro rata
  • Hours: 29.33 hours per week, 40 weeks per year (term time plus 2 weeks)

Brooklands Primary School is a vibrant and exceptional school. We are an expanding school because of significant housing development, and as a result are looking for a Receptionist and Administrative Assistant.

You will be responsible for undertaking a range of administrative tasks including support and service to the Headteacher as well as offering a high quality and professional reception service, acting as first point of contact for all visitors, callers and email enquiries to Brooklands.

  • empathetic and approachable, polite and friendly with excellent communication skills
  • able to provide accurate administrative support using Outlook, Excel, Word and our school management system (training will be provided)
  • able to organise day-to-day work tasks and activities, multi-task and prioritise to meet deadlines
  • flexible and have a ‘can-do’ approach to work as no two days are the same.

Previous Office Experience Is Desirable But Not Essential.

Brooklands is situated halfway between Ipswich, the county town of Suffolk and historic Colchester, Essex and is part of the Orwell Multi Academy Trust.
