Your Role And Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative and system support to the Residential Children's Homes team, including liaising with Service Manager, Business Support Manager and HR teams.
  • Be responsible for ensuring all necessary pre-recruitment activity, such as establishment control processes, have been completed before recruitment requests are progressed to a recruitment advisor.
  • Manage incoming contacts, providing responses where possible, signposting to information or passing to a specialist for reply.
  • Have a keen eye for detail and be confident editing existing information within existing guidelines.
  • Coordinate and manage multiple vacancies & projects simultaneously.

  • Good communication and IT skills.
  • The ability to work confidently under your own initiative and work independently to resolve issues.

The Corporate Parenting Business Support Team has an expansive portfolio which includes Adoption, Fostering, Children’s Homes, Leaving Care and UASC Services. The team works together collaboratively to ensure the very best for children in the care of the County Council.
