Hi there! I\’m a cute little three-year-old girl. I live with my parents, a loving sister, my puppy and two playful cats who keep me entertained. Despite my challenges with Cerebral Palsy, Epilepsy, and Dystonia, I am a fighter who always has a sweet and cheeky smile on my face and contagious energy. I consider my family and carers as my strongest support system, and we value every moment that we spend together. I also want you to know that as you get to know me better, you will have a good friend in me. If you decide to join my team, I would be delighted to share my playtime, music, games, and cartoons with you.
I am looking for a complex care assistant or someone with a vocation to work with childrenwho iswilling to develop into this role. I require full assistance with every aspect of my daily routine, and I need assurance that my well-being and safety are taken care of. Please note that hospital stays may be involved as needed during scheduled shifts.
Experience is desirable but not essential; all relevant training will be provided to the suitable candidates.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide direct care and assistance with activities of daily living, such as elements of personal care, transfers, and feeding.
Manage and administer various medications, therapies and treatments.
Monitor health status and keep detailed and accurate records.
Assist with the review and creation of Care Plans.
Maintain a safe and clean environment.
Show a strong work ethic, including the ability to set priorities, follow strict and dynamic routines, complete work independently or as part of a team, and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Capable of quickly responding, adapting, and learning when faced with new challenges and/or emergency situations.
Always maintaining a high level of focus and attention to detail.

Essential Criteria
Female personal assistant required *Schedule 9, P1 of the Equality Act 2010 applies.
Own transport required.
Energetic, playful, patient, and caring traits.
Dedicated with a strong work ethic and detail-oriented.
Good communication skills, both oral and written.
Willing to proactively gain deep knowledge regarding health conditions and needs as required and participate in training sessions as required.
Ability to set priorities, complete work independently (without supervision) or as a team and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Ease to understand and to complete all required documentation, including care plans.
Ability to act in stressful /urgent situations.
Desirable Criteria
Experience working with children in an educational setting OR
Paediatric complex care experience (PEG feed, epilepsy management, cerebral palsy)
Experience with chest percussion therapy (CPT)
Basic knowledge of computers at entry level (technology-friendly)

Pay rate: Waking night rate £18.00 Per Hour
Hours, times and days of work: A degree of flexibility is offered. Rota\’s details are to be agreed on during theinterview.
Operational Times (subject to change as needed)
Thu 9pm-9am
Fri 9pm-9am
The annual holiday entitlement for this position will be equivalent to the work normally done during 5.6 weeks (statutory entitlement).
I do not operate a private sick pay scheme but provided you meet the eligibility criteria, you may be entitled to Statutory Sick Pay (SSP).
You will be required to adhere to policies during your role. Further details will be given about these policies upon starting.
