Framfield House is a 14,500 patient PMS practice based in Woodbridge serving patients from Woodbridge and the surrounding villages. We are looking for a medical secretary to join our friendly team on a 6 – 12 month contract with the opportunity of a permanent position after this time.

The role includes:

  • To support the development of the practice by providing an efficient and effective medical secretarial service to the clinical team
  • Assist patients, doctors and hospital staff with secretarial enquiries on the telephone
  • Word process all GP correspondence both via digital dictation and composing appropriate letters
  • Completion and submission of referral forms
  • To participate in staff meetings

Knowledge of medical secretarial work and/or SystmOne preferred and experience of working within a primary care setting would be an advantage. The successful applicant should have good organisational skills and be enthusiastic to provide an efficient timely service.
