Responsibilities
You will ensure that our patients who are unable to attend the surgery receive equitable access to care.
Support routine health checks and carry our preliminary assessments as part of long-term condition review processes under the direction of the nursing and GP team.
Record clinical observations including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, oxygen saturation, weight, urinalysis, diabetic foot checks and blood glucose monitoring.
Qualifications
You would be suited to this role if you have experience working as an HCA or in a patient-facing role.
You will need a relevant Care Certificate, NVQ Level 3 qualification in Health & Social Care, or equivalent experience.
You will have a good understanding of long-term condition monitoring and competence in venepuncture, blood pressure and pulse checks, understanding the importance of preliminary health checks.
