This is an exciting opportunity to join a developing nurse-led service at Suffolk GP Federation. We are supporting primary care by delivering an ADHD Prescribing & Monitoring service in Suffolk and North East Essex for adults and children diagnosed with ADHD and stabilised on medication. We operate to the national shared care agreement in collaboration with ADHD Specialist Teams to provide a seamless service for patients and their caregivers. We will work alongside the successful candidate to ensure they are sufficiently inducted and trained; there will be regular constructive supervision in place. It is important to us that you feel safe and supported in the role.

Responsibilities

  • Work across three locations: Ipswich, Colchester and Bury St Edmunds
  • Provide ADHD prescribing and monitoring for adults and children diagnosed with ADHD and stabilised on medication, in collaboration with ADHD Specialist Teams under the national shared care agreement
  • Participate in induction, training and regular supervision to support professional development and role safety

Qualifications/Requirements

Specialist training in ADHD and prescribing of ADHD medication will be provided as required.
