East Suffolk Services Limited is a growing and ambitious company delivering essential local services across the district. Since launching in July 2023, we’ve made strong progress and built a dedicated team committed to making a real difference in our communities. We’re now looking for a Transport Manager to join our Fleet Management team.
Your role: In this important role, you’ll be named on the Vehicle Operator Licence (O’ Licence) and work closely with our Senior Transport Manager to ensure full legal compliance under the Department for Transport’s statutory responsibilities. You’ll ensure our vehicles are operated safely and legally, support managers with guidance and training, and help build a strong safety culture across the organisation. You’ll also contribute to accident investigations and play a key role in maintaining accurate compliance records and reports.
What you will need: You will need a Certificate in Professional Competence (CPC) in Road Haulage (National) and a full UK Driving Licence with Category B entitlement. You will also have knowledge of operator licensing requirements and legislation, and proven excellent communication, decision making and problem‑solving skills.
