Join one of our Taster Day sessions this August, a required step before applying to become a wholetime firefighter this September.
What to Expect on the Day:
You’ll hear from our team about life as a wholetime firefighter, including shift patterns and the recruitment process. You’ll tour the station, explore fire appliances, and try on protective gear. Our Health & Wellbeing team will explain the fitness requirements, and you’ll also learn about the inclusive staff networks within Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service.
