Location: East Suffolk Council, Melton IP12 1RT, or Lowestoft NR33 0EQ (Based on candidate preference)

Salary: Year 1 - £16,341 per annum; Year 2 – £24,521 per annum (NLW)

Hours: 37 hours per week

Training contract: 21-month training contract

Start date: 14th September 2026

About the role

  • Learn how to maintain accurate land and property records on both GIS and database systems.
  • Provide support and advice to end users and colleagues within the Council regarding the use of land and property systems.
  • Develop a high standard of accuracy and attention to detail.

Qualifications

  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Aptitude for ICT.
  • Educated to A-level standard or equivalent.
  • English and Maths GCSEs at Grades 4‑9 or Grade C and above (or equivalent).
  • Passionate about being a positive and professional ambassador for the council and providing the best experience for customers.
  • Self‑motivation and willingness to learn in this profession.
