This is your opportunity, as an Early Years Nursery Manager, to lead a team with the implementation and development of the EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage) framework and to help support children on their learning journey.
Leading a team of 10-12 staff, managing the nursery on a daily basis while following The Curiosity Approach. Developing excellent working relationships with the staff and promoting the values of the nursery to staff, parents and children.
Responsibilities
- Manage the staff team, following Ofsted guidelines and building the nursery to achieve high standards.
- Maintaining accurate records including occupancy and growth.
- Train and develop staff to fulfil their potential.
Qualifications
- Level 3 or above in a childcare qualification
- At least 1 year of Early Years management experience
- Experience of working in a nursery setting
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Knowledge of the EYFS and Ofsted statutory guidance
- Ability to deliver a high standard of childcare
