Salary: £13.05 per hour, £25,185 pa pro-rata, depending on experience (pay award pending)

Hours: 30 hours per week, 38 weeks per year (term time only)

Contract: Permanent. Required from September 2026

Working hours: 8.30am - 3.30pm, Monday - Friday with 1-hour unpaid lunch.

Sextons Manor Primary School are looking to recruit a motivated, friendly and dedicated Administration Assistant for the school office. The Administration role is a critical position in the school office with responsibility for the provision of a comprehensive administrative support service to include financial/HR processing and premises management (including health and safety, compliance monitoring, cleaning).

You will:

  • have a friendly, welcoming personality as the first point of contact for all our visitors, children and families
  • have an ability to maintain confidentiality and be highly organised
  • have excellent communication skills with adults and young children
  • have a good standard of written English (GCSE grade A-C or equivalent)
  • demonstrate the ability to use Microsoft Office packages and school software
  • be a positive person with a good sense of humour
  • be a team member who is adaptable and flexible with an ability to work under pressure and to strict deadlines.

Experience of working in an education environment and/or an office would be advantageous.
