We are looking for a dedicated Support Worker to provide reablement care for clients in Sudbury and Haverhill. This role offers flexible hours, competitive pay, and the opportunity to support clients in maintaining independence.
Location: Sudbury & Haverhill
Salary: £25,185 – £28,142 per annum (pro rata for part‑time)
Hours: 20 hours per week (flexible, ranging from 7.5 to 37 hours)
Contract: Permanent – 4 positions available
No experience is required. You will receive full induction, in‑depth training, ongoing team support, and the chance to complete a Level 2 Health and Social Care qualification funded by us.
Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain positive relationships with customers and their family carers.
- Deliver personalised care plans and short‑term enablement strategies.
- Provide assistance with dignified personal care and explore alternative ways to meet long‑term needs.
- Promote services that enable safe, independent living and monitor progress against care plans.
- Maintain accurate records to support ongoing reviews.
- Support clients in making informed choices and achieving independence.

Travel Requirements: This role requires traveling to clients’ homes in rural locations, driving in various weather conditions and sometimes during evenings or nights. A valid driving licence and access to a car (or suitable transport) is essential.
