Role overview
Anglian Learning is pleased to share with you an exciting opportunity for a Student Support Officer to join Stour Valley Community School.
Duties include:
- Supporting the Raising Standards Leads in providing pastoral care and behaviour support to the students
- Supporting the systems that will enable the school to improve on the base figures on attendance and truancy as set by the government
- Providing support to help students better cope with the challenges they face
Qualifications
- Experience of working with children in a professional setting
- The ability to write detailed reports, letters and complete complex returns
- The ability to establish respectful and trusting relationships with children, their families, carers and other adults
- Good organisational skills to manage your time effectively
