School Crossing Patrol Supervisor

Based in Ipswich, this challenging and varied role allows you to take responsibility for your area supporting School Crossing Patrols in the south of the county; from Hadleigh, to Felixstowe in the east, and to Woodbridge in the north of the area, but mainly focussing on the Ipswich area.

Your Role And Responsibilities

  • Provide day to day supervision of School Crossing Patrol and Relief School Crossing Patrol Officers and the sites in your area
  • Assist in the recruitment and training of School Crossing Patrol Officers
  • Maintain the School Crossing Patrol service at a high standard
  • Maintain a healthy and safe working environment for team members by regular inspection and giving advice to the patrols

You will need

  • NVQ Level 4/5 (undergraduate), or Level 3 (A levels) working towards foundation degree, or evidence of knowledge and experience of Road Safety, HR or Management
  • Passion for making a difference for Suffolk
  • Commitment to the promotion of sustainable transport and road safety for all
  • Confident communicator, and enjoy building effective relationships with team members to help deliver our objectives
