Your role
We are seeking a passionate, dedicated, and experienced Teaching Assistant who would take on or work towards Higher-Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) responsibilities, to join our supportive and dynamic team. You will play a key role in supporting teaching and learning across the school, taking responsibility for delivering high-quality lessons and interventions under the guidance of class teachers.
As HLTA, you will:
- plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the curriculum, taking full responsibility for small groups or whole classes as required
- support students' learning and development, including those with SEND
- assist in assessing, recording and reporting students' progress
- manage classroom behaviour effectively and promote a positive, inclusive learning environment
You will need:
- HLTA accreditation or Level 4 Teaching Assistant qualification (or willingness to work towards this qualification)
- experience of working with children in a school setting, preferably across multiple key stages
- strong communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
- commitment to high standards of safeguarding, inclusion, and child development
