East Suffolk Council is an exciting place to work, delivering essential local services and making a real difference to a quarter of a million people across East Suffolk. We currently have an opportunity to join East Suffolk Council's Private Sector Housing team as a Technical Officer.

The role: As a technical officer you will provide technical advice, assistance and support to individuals living with a disability, who wish to adapt their homes. You will liaise with Occupational Therapists in the design of reasonable and practicable solutions to meet the necessary and appropriate needs of the client, along with instructing and monitoring contractors in the delivery of good quality solutions.

What you will need: If you have knowledge of building construction, the ability to analyse and solve new and complex problems along with clear communications skills, we would love to hear from you!
