This is an exciting opportunity to join an established team supporting the continuous improvement of Suffolk County Council's core social care and finance systems. These include Liquidlogic for Adults' and Children's Social Care, Early Help modules, ContrOCC finance systems, and associated portals, all of which are critical to delivering high quality care and support across the county.

As a Systems Support and Development Analyst, you will play a key role in ensuring these systems are fit for purpose, effectively support frontline practice, and continue to develop in line with service needs and national requirements.

Your role and responsibilities

You will provide day to day support to practitioners, finance staff, and managers, helping them to use systems effectively and resolve complex issues relating to system functionality and workflows. You will contribute to the ongoing development and maintenance of system tools that support operating models and key transformation programmes across Adults' and Children's Services. The role also involves actively supporting system upgrades, including preparation and testing of new releases, and engaging with system users to improve system use and adoption.

  • A proven ability to identify opportunities for, and deliver, process improvements.
  • Experience of delivering business analysis to support change programmes within a large organisation.
  • The ability to clearly communicate complex or sensitive information to a wide range of non-technical audiences.

The role reports to the Systems Support and Development Leads and works closely with colleagues across Children and Young People Services (CYP), Adult Social Care (ASC), and the wider council, including Social Work Services, Service Development, Contracts, Digital teams, Corporate Finance, and IT.
