The Nest Nursery is 1 of 7 nurseries operated by the Bows and Arrows Group charity – we are a not-for-profit organisation, meaning every penny goes back into developing our nurseries and staff. The Nest Nursery on Pauls Road forms part of the Bows and Arrows group, operating its 2 rooms (baby, toddler and preschool) all year round. The nursery and its team have a huge passion for open ended natural learning that includes access to outdoors and the natural world.

About the role

We are looking to appoint an Early Years Educator to support our toddler/preschool room over 5 days a week, all year round but would consider term time only.

Responsibilities

  • Initiating and engaging in exciting activities and experiences for children, indoors and outside
  • Supporting children’s behaviour using strategies that align with the High Scope Approach and Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs
  • Completing observations, planning and learning journeys
  • Developing relationships with all parents/carers

Qualifications

  • Education: Diploma of Higher Education in childcare (required)
  • Experience: Childcare – 1 year minimum (required)
  • Level 3 qualified practitioner with passion and enthusiasm (desired)
