Your role and responsibilities:
- Work directly with families to support the social, emotional, physical and intellectual wellbeing of children from pregnancy to age five.
- Deliver the Healthy Child Programme and contribute to the Children's Centre statutory framework.
- Plan and deliver evidence based universal and targeted services for children and families.
- Complete home visits and group sessions focusing on early intervention and prevention.
- Support parents to build strong bonds with their children and develop confidence in their parenting role.
- Work closely with partner agencies to safeguard children and contribute to assessments and meetings.
- Mentor students and support the development of other practitioners.
- Maintain high professional standards in line with the NMC Code of Professional Conduct and clinical governance requirements.
About you:

- Registration as a Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) Registered Nurse.
- Experience of working directly with children, young people and families.
- Knowledge of safeguarding legislation, national guidance and best practice.
- Confidence working with families experiencing complex needs or early signs of difficulty.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build trusting relationships.
- Experience of multi-agency working and collaborative practice.
- Good IT skills and the ability to maintain accurate records.
- A reflective approach and commitment to continuous professional development.
