Suffolk County Council is seeking an Apprenticeships Suffolk Advisor in the Suffolk Economy and Skills Team. This role supports and strengthens the local apprenticeship system, inspiring and supporting individuals to develop skills, confidence, and opportunities while collaborating with employers, providers, and stakeholders.

Your role and responsibilities include:

  • Connecting people and businesses through apprenticeships by building strong relationships with employers to understand workforce needs.
  • Promoting initiatives such as the Skills and Growth Levy Share Scheme to help organisations maximise funding and widen access to apprenticeships.
  • Working directly with individuals and groups to inspire confidence, develop skills, and support career pathways.
  • Delivering workshops, events, and campaigns that raise awareness and engagement.
  • Collaborating with training providers and partners to strengthen networks and expand opportunities.
  • Using data and insights to track progress and improve delivery.
  • Representing the team at meetings and stakeholder forums.
