Head of School (Deputy Head) – St Edmund’s and St Joseph’s Catholic Primary Schools

This role is non‑classed and involves leadership across both sites, predominantly at St Edmund’s. You will support the primary curriculum, promote inclusion, diversity and excellence, and act as Designated Safeguarding Lead at St Edmund’s.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support teaching staff across the federation.
• Collaborate on shared planning, assessment, and professional development.
• Ensure a knowledge‑rich learning experience for pupils.
• Act as Designated Safeguarding Lead and oversee safeguarding procedures.

Qualifications

• Experienced practising Catholic teacher with a commitment to Catholic values.
• Strong leadership skills and experience in a primary setting.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a federated environment.

The successful candidate will need to undertake a DBS check.
