Responsibilities

  • Provide Cyber advice in a confident and authoritative manner
  • React to vendor security alerts & threats to our assets and communicate these threats to the asset owner so they can be managed
  • Interpret and analyse technical output from regular security scans and report the results to the asset owner so the vulnerability can be closed or mitigated.
  • To help understand, record, manage and communicate IT Risks to colleagues, stakeholders, and senior managers.
  • Assist with creation and distribution of key security indicators monthly IT security dashboard
  • Assist with the annual PSN, NHSDSPT, & PCI DSS external compliance work
  • Identify and recommend new methods of threat detection and prevention across our estate
  • Keep up to date with the latest IT security news
  • Understand and apply policy, legislation and best practices to solutions and Information Security Incidents.

Approximately 2 years\’ experience working in cyber security role, or cyber security related role.
