At Suffolk County Council we are looking for Newly Qualified Social Workers to join the Children and Young People's service. You will be part of a regulated, highly skilled team that works with children, families and carers to find solutions, promote rights and empower them to thrive.
Key responsibilities
- Support children, families and carers through professional and compassionate care.
- Ensure children's safety and welfare, work within legislation and frameworks.
- Engage in personalised care planning, risk assessments and protection processes.
- Deliver and document interventions, including monitoring outcomes and reviewing progress with partners.
- Maintain coaching involvement in supervision, reflection and professional development.
Qualifications & requirements
- Relevant social work qualification and Social Work England registration.
- Full and current driving licence and access to suitable transport.

- £34,434 per annum rising to £37,280, with retention payment £1,500–£4,000.
