Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Support children and their families, helping them find solutions and promote their rights.
  • Conduct and record assessments for families during placements, ensuring outcomes are thorough and child‑centred.
  • Collaborate with practice managers, partners, and other professionals to safeguard children and deliver high quality care.
  • Participate in regular supervision, CPD, and PDP to support professional growth and manage caseloads.
  • Advise and offer preventative support to children in need, working within s17 and s47 assessments and child protection plans.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Relevant social work qualification and Social Work England registration.
  • Full and current driving licence and access to personal transport, or meeting mobility requirements through other reasonable means.
  • Commitment to safeguarding, child protection, and supporting vulnerable families.
