Responsibilities
- Support the Leaving care & UASC team as part of the Corporate Parenting Service to assist care leavers from 18 to 21 (or 25 should the wish to remain open to the service).
- Engage in financial processes, payments and auditing activities as part of the role.
- Provide minute taking and contribute to team administration with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
- Work effectively in a team and also use initiative to resolve a range of issues independently.
- Prioritise work to meet deadlines and team objectives with a good level of literacy and numeracy.
- Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities offered by the team.
Qualifications
- Understanding of financial processes.
- Minute taking experience.
- Good communication and IT skills; ability to contribute to a team approach.
- Ability to work confidently under own initiative and independently.
- Keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines.
- A good level of literacy and numeracy.

The team: The Leaving care & UASC team is part of the Corporate Parenting Service who support care leavers from 18 to 21 or 25 should the wish to remain open to the service. The aim of the service is to help Care leavers develop independence and transition into adulthood. The team is supportive, inclusive and focused on improving practice and outcomes. Training and opportunities to gain knowledge and experience are provided.
