We’re looking for a motivated and proactive Wellbeing Coordinator to join our Workplace Health, Safety and Wellbeing Team within the Joint People Directorate.

About the Role

As a Wellbeing Coordinator, you will be at the heart of delivering positive change—helping to shape and promote wellbeing initiatives that make a real difference to the lives of our officers, staff and volunteers. You’ll coordinate and deliver a wide range of wellbeing activities and programmes, working closely with colleagues across both Norfolk and Suffolk Constabularies. This is a highly collaborative role where your ideas, energy and commitment will directly contribute to building a healthier, more resilient workforce.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Coordinating and delivering a variety of wellbeing initiatives and campaigns
  • Providing advice and guidance on wellbeing-related matters to managers and staff
  • Supporting and developing networks such as Wellbeing Champions and peer support groups
  • Promoting wellbeing through engaging resources, presentations and events
  • Researching innovative approaches to wellbeing and helping bring them to life
  • Working visibly across departments and locations to build relationships and raise awareness
  • Contributing ideas that enhance wellbeing support across the organisation

Who We’re Looking For

We’re seeking someone who is:

  • Passionate about wellbeing, mental health and supporting others
  • An excellent communicator, confident working with people at all levels
  • Highly organised with strong time management skills
  • Able to build strong, trusted relationships across diverse teams
  • Curious and proactive, with the ability to research and develop new ideas
  • Understanding (or willing to learn) the unique demands of policing and its impact on wellbeing
  • Experience in a wellbeing-focused role is essential, with knowledge of policing or trauma-informed approaches (e.g. TRiM) desirable.

Location & Working Style

Based at Wymondham (OCC) and Martlesham (PHQ). Hybrid working available, with travel across Norfolk and Suffolk as required.
