This new role aims to enhance and grow the Association’s membership offering, strengthen relationships with care providers, and expand engagement with statutory, business, and voluntary partners. The postholder will support operational delivery and champion the importance of high-quality social care across Suffolk and beyond.

Membership & Relationship Management

  • Increase membership and build strong relationships with care providers across Suffolk and beyond
  • Raise awareness of the Association and the wider social care sector
  • Account manage partnerships to maximise income and network influence

Training, Events & Project Delivery

  • Develop and manage a comprehensive training programme across face-to-face, e-learning and online platforms, working alongside the Training Coordinator
  • Lead evaluation, monitoring and survey programmes demonstrating the Association’s value
  • Deliver online and in-person events promoting the Association’s work and specialist areas

Marketing, Communications & Engagement

  • Create content and support innovative awareness campaigns
  • Stay informed of industry-specific news relevant to the Association and its members
  • Build relationships with members and prospect members through regular focused engagement & activity

Operational Management

  • Oversee sector specific workstreams including DSPT and International Recruitment
  • Line-manage staff and contribute to operational planning
  • Deputise for the CEO as required

Person Specification

  • Experience working in social care at a managerial level
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills
  • Experience managing teams and complex projects
  • Creative, innovative, and proactive approach
  • Full UK driving license
  • Clinical experience/knowledge within social care settings
