What will I be doing?
Providing excellent customer service, you will advise and assist members of the public on how to use the site to maximize recovery of materials they are depositing. This will involve:
- Maintaining accurate records for the removal of materials from the site.
- Controlling the exchange of containers by booking loads with the relevant person, ensuring the site always has space to segregate and store materials correctly.
- Maintaining a tidy site within your areas of responsibility.
- Ensuring SUEZ fully complies with its legal duties regarding health, safety, and welfare of employees and others affected by actions or omissions.
- Co-operating with SUEZ and other employees to comply with the site permit, all applicable legislation, and SUEZ Policies and Procedures.
- Performing any other duties reasonably requested within the scope of the job role.
What are the requirements?
With potential qualifications including IOSH health & safety and COTC level 4 (waste industry specific), we seek an enthusiastic team player to join the current site team and ensure operations exceed standards. A flexible approach to work is advantageous, as you may need to cover holiday and sick leave.
What you will need is:
- A good level of customer service and teamwork skills
- Ideally some prior mobile plant experience; full training will be provided.
